COMPLETELY-IN-THE-CANAL (CIC) AIDS
From $895 each!
The smallest custom hearing aid available, it fits deeply into the canal. It has a small removal cord attached to it to assist in removing it from the ear. This is the most cosmetically appealing hearing aid as it is almost invisible. The CIC may have less circuit options due to its small size. This hearing aid is typically more expensive than the other custom products. NOTE: Your ear canal moves as you talk and chew. The hearing aid may begin working its way out of the ear as you move your jaw, indicating that the hearing aid should be remade for a better fit. It may need to be remade more than once.

BEHIND-THE-EAR (BTE) AIDS
As low as $395 each!
The electronic components of the hearing aid are housed in a slim case that fits behind the ear with one or several microphones at the top of the instrument. An earmold is fit into the ear and is attached to the hearing aid by a thin, clear tube holding the hearing aid in place. Sounds picked up and processed by the hearing aid are transmitted into the ear via this tube and earmold. The BTE is the largest ear level hearing aid and allows more power than other styles of hearing aids.

NEW! OPEN FIT BEHIND-THE-EAR AIDS
From $1195 each!
The circuitry of this type of of hearing aid is specifically designed for high frequency hearing loss. It can be made with a custom product or a BTE. This hearing aid amplifies high frequency sound into the ear without blocking the ear canal either by using a very large vent or a very thin small earpiece on the BTE. Some of the BTE's designed for this type of fitting are half the size of a standard BTE and the tubing is very narrow - oftentimes making the hearing aid almost invisible.
